Exhibition

Tribute to the Swiss painter Andrea Robbi with a”created cycle exclusively for the exhibition from the night in the light presents the Berlin artist Marion Pohl from May 14 to May 28 with her graceful watercolor paintings in the Gallery Photo & art berlin’ in the Botzowstrasse 37 in Prenzlauer Berg. There are almost exclusively female portraits, their specialty this expressive, attractive eyes are. This looks – knowing, understanding, and of a great basic sadness. This fixed volatility of the moment, that scurry some portraits almost from the image format and of the unspoken, mysterious stories of unknown fine tells the Viewer. The delicate, reserved for only the Watercolour gradients emphasize the spontaneous imagery of the artist. This special technique produced their unique image effect by the touch down, sketch-like appearance of secret private women’s faces. Often, like a melody, like the memory of a particular perfume, at last blown by the winds Fate moments.

If we let up on the images of Marion Pohl, it happens that we are emotionally touched. Today, where there is normality, to show ugly & shrill, these images have provocative, without having to do nothing to doubt. The silence with which she transported’s feelings intended by the artist, has what is affected depending on the shape of the Viewer. And, perhaps more importantly, an enduring, a pause needs. If it is difficult to describe feelings with words, then, as, only with color and form? Suddenly, we see images that can touch us strangely, even irritate. Images, clearly in their colours, structures, lines and surfaces. Seeing as faces & figures, seemingly like touch down on its surface. If you engage, look and touch, it can be, actually receiving those moments of sensuality and for themselves discovered the loudest silence you has ever heard.” Wolfgang Strankowski
